Featuring research-based strategies, the course covers the role of hedgerows, diversified plantings, trap crops, augmentative biocontrol, and farmscape complexity in boosting beneficial insect communities. Participants will gain practical knowledge on how to integrate ecological pest management tools into a wide variety of crop systems.
WFA is pleased to offer this free California Continuing Education Course through December 31, 2026.
This course is approved for credit through the California Department of Pesticide Regulation. Anyone is welcome to take the courses, but only those in California can receive credits.
Click the button above to begin the course. It can be taken at your leisure over several days or weeks as needed. Course progress is tracked by your email address. If you leave and come back into the system using the same email address, you can pick up where you left off. Make sure your email address is spelled correctly when you enter it the first time so you don't lose your progress.
The course is divided up into hour-long segments with several video lessons and a five question quiz in each hour. There is also a final ten question quiz at the end of the course. You must get at least 70% correct in each quiz to pass. You may re-take a quiz if you do not pass on the first try.
Please note: After completing a course, you will be emailed a certificate of completion. Keep this for your records for three years. This course is approved for the âOtherâ category and would count towards the total âOtherâ hours needed for license renewal.
